I have contacted shopify for an issue. Taking their sweet time to fix a tiny little issue. Their chat assistants keep saying ‘we are working on it’, ‘we will personally make sure this will get resolved’ but nothing is getting resolved. Really disappointed in this platform. They used to be very fast at resolving any problems I had before. I recommended to many of my friends which i will not be doing anymore. Taking half a month is just ridiculous to fix an issue. People’s livelihoods are dependent on their websites and this platform need to understand this. Wherever they are outsourcing their labour is going to lose all their business as they are not helpful. And I much rather speak to someone who has broken English and who can actually help, than to someone with immaculate, chatgpt written messages. I am going to consider moving my website to another platform who have better resolution centers. Looks like shopify is getting overcrowded and they simply don’t have the labour needed to keep up with demand. Sad but true as I really liked shopify.

I want to choose shopify payments as the payment method for my website. I am trying to add my bank account details so the payments will come directly to my bank account, but it is asking me for old bank account details of the previous owner which I don’t have. It should be a 2 minute job for shopify to clear the previous owner’s details so that I can input my details. Have been waiting for almost half a month now and still nothing. Getting really frustrated. And no, I cannot reach the old owner anymore. I tried. So this needs to be rectified by shopify team.
