Shopify Local Delivery and Third Party Delivery Services

Hi all,

I am exploring Shopify’s Local Delivery functionality for a grocery store in the US and I am not seeing a clear integration with 3rd party delivery services such as Postmates, DoorDash, and Shipt. From the I can tell Shopify’s native Local Delivery assumes stores are staffed up to perform these deliveries, which in my case, I’d rather outsource to a third party. It seems like a lot of extra steps will be required to use a third party. Keen to hear some thoughts on this.

I’m in the same boat! Just sent one of my employees off the floor to handle a local delivery.

Any updates on this? we are also looking for a helpful option with a 3rd party app.
