Think this was asked before Shopify launched the ability to add an email recipient to gift card purchases.
This is a fairly good solution, but I’d recommend using an app to let customers really personalize the gift. A few good options out there, I’d recommend:
- Givy - most features overall, really nice gifting flow
- Vify - great if you only want to send gift cards
- GV - free, but you get what you pay for
