Shopify Payments accounts are region specific. So if you’d like to set up a Shopify Payments account for a region that you’re not based in, your case will need to be reviewed by our internal review teams. This is because there are certain conditions that will need to be met for the particular Shopify Payments region you’re looking to apply to.
Have you perhaps received an email from our team in regards to your Shopify Payments account? If so, you’ll need to reply to that email so that you can communicate directly with the team handling your case. They are best equipped to answer any specific questions you may have about your Shopify Payments account. If you haven’t received any emails from our team though, you can contact our Live Support team so that we can access your account from our end and help you get in touch with our internal review teams.
To get in touch with our team, you’ll need to login to your store via our help centre here. Once logged in, select a topic that best fits your query or situation. From there, you’ll be taken to a page with a list of relevant support articles, and you can scroll to the bottom of that page to select your preferred contact method with our team.
Apart from your Shopify Payments account being on hold, is there anything else that you need further help with? How are things going with your store otherwise?
In the meantime, I’ll leave some of our Shopify Payments resources below for you to have a read of, in case you’d like further information on this topic:
