Im trying to connect my bank account to shopify payments via plaid as i’ve seen on many shopify articles but i don’t find an option to do that. Each time i go to change my bank account im only getting the option to add bank details manually there is no option to connect my bank directly via plaid.
I tried many times to contact support about this issue they also tell me there should be an option to do that which there isn’t.
If the option to connect via Plaid is not available.Check Region Availability Plaid integration might not be available in all regions. Verify if your country supports this feature. also clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again And try to Use a Different Browser: Sometimes, certain browser settings or extensions can interfere with options. Try a different browser.
Did you ever get this fixed? I’m having the same issue with no help from Shopify. I signed up for a Shopify balance account and Shopify advertised it as “you can switch back anytime” and I did switch back because Balance is not convenient. Now all my transactions are being given lengthy holds and I was told to use plaid to connect and there is no option for that. It’s so upsetting.
Hello , was wondering if your issue finally got resolved? It’s been super frustrating as well trying to understand how Shopify can’t figure out what’s going on. Activated a balance account not knowing it will automatically set as default and then reverted back in minutes to my existing bank. Besides lengthy payouts now , there’s days we don’t get payouts and then days with only one transaction in the payout. If we don’t have days with one transaction, why would we receive payouts with one transaction on it. Then to top it off , the payouts are not coming in the order the transaction did. I’ll get a payout with one transaction but still haven’t received 15 transactions that were done prior. I got the same answer to connect to plaid and they don’t understand now why I don’t have that option either. I just want to go back on how I’ve been operating the last 6 years.
Hello! I am having the exact same issue, and I am wondering if anyone has figured this out or figured out a workaround. I initially changed my account to see if balance would indeed deposit next day as advertised. Every since then the “verify with plaid” option disappeared when I tried to change my account bank. Even more frustrating, I have to re-enter my banking details every few days to get ANY transactions to go through.
