Shopify Payments is not supported in Hungary, Europe so I can’t use Shopify. I could use Shopify but only with 3rd-party payment providers which are not safe enough and are technically weaker. So why don’t you support Shopify Payments in Hungary, Europe?
The availability of Shopify Payments in different countries is influenced by various factors, including regulatory requirements and local market conditions. While I don’t have specific information on why Shopify Payments is not supported in Hungary, Europe, it’s worth considering that Shopify offers integrations with third-party payment providers. These providers undergo security checks, although it is important to carefully evaluate and choose a reliable option. Stay updated with Shopify’s announcements for any potential changes in payment options.
Please let me know if you have any further questions! I would love to learn more about your business. What type of products do you sell?
You’ve just sent the problem with third-party payment providers:
“although it is important to carefully evaluate and choose a reliable option”
Would you choose from them to your own business? I guess you wouldn’t. That’s my opinion too. So all I can do is leaving Shopify and choose another company like WooCommerce, WooPayments which is supported in Hungary, EU.
We have many reliable third-party payment gateway options available to you through Shopify. By carefully evaluating them, I ment that you want to make sure you are aware of their fees, as well as rules and regulations for example, what your allowed to sell, etc. The same goes for Shopify Payments as we have a terms of service as well.
