Shopify Shipping

We operate a bin-style discount store with over 2,000 unique products, and each product has a different weight and size . We are planning to start offering delivery for our items and would like guidance on the best way to manage shipping and delivery efficiently. We don’t want to go with local delivery method.

Thanks
Sam

Your shipping setup will mostly depend on which carriers you plan to use for delivery. In Shopify, there are usually two ways merchants handle this. The first option is Shopify Shipping, where you ship using Shopify’s built-in integrations with carriers like UPS, FedEx, and USPS through Shopify’s own accounts, which makes it pretty easy to get started. The second option is using your own carrier accounts, which many businesses prefer because it often gives you better discounts and more flexibility. In that case, an app like PH MCSL can really help. It connects your carrier accounts to Shopify, shows accurate shipping rates at checkout, and lets you generate labels and manage tracking from one place. It also makes managing thousands of products with different weights and sizes much easier, since the app can automatically calculate rates and handle packaging logic, saving you a lot of manual work as orders start coming in.

@Friday-Deals24 On Shopify you can go to the Product page and enter weight + select the right package for each order.

Then you’re able to buy shipping labels by clicking on “Create shipping label” when you receive an order.
