Shopify Support have permanently left me on 'Chatting with an advisor' when I am not

When using the unhelpful AI, I cannot even click the Contact Support button.

2 agents here, the first one gave me completely wrong advice regarding the VAT invoices that can be downloaded when an order is complete. The second eventually clarified. But neither have done the correct process and made a ticket etc. and this chat is now permanently stuck like this. I have tried browsers etc. and it’s not my end.

No response? How do I force Shopify to fix this ridiculous bug?

Sounds frustrating to be stuck in an endless chat loop with no resolution :slightly_smiling_face: but you might try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then log back into Shopify and attempt to access support again. If that doesn’t work, try using Incognito Mode or a different browser.
