I got locked out of my shopify account and completed the verification sent all my documents but still havent heard back and I cant log in to talk to a support advisor what should I do?

I understand how frustrating that can be. Since you’re unable to log in, the best option is to contact Shopify Support directly without signing into your store.

  • Go to the Help Center at help.shopify.com — you can access support from there even if you’re logged out
  • Or visit shopify.com/support, where you can submit a request without logging in

When you contact them, try to include the ticket or case number from your original verification request (if you have it). That will help them find your case more quickly.

I appreciate it but it still asks me to log in

Yeah this sucks but you’re stuck waiting on their compliance team to review the docs, usually takes 1-3 days but can be longer if they need more info. Try reaching out on Twitter @ShopifySupport or Facebook, sometimes the social media team can flag urgent cases to speed things up. What verification did they ask for, just ID or business docs too?

@reneeH1 Check your email (including spam) for any reply or request for more documents

  • Reply to the same verification email thread instead of starting a new one

  • Wait at least 3–5 business days if you just submitted

If it’s already been longer:

  • Go to the Shopify Help Center (you can access it without logging in)

  • Use the “Can’t log in” option to request support

  • Or contact them via their official X (Twitter) account @ShopifySupport and explain you’re locked out

Important: creating a new account to bypass this can make things worse—they may link accounts and delay your case further.
