Showcase theme - slideshow backround opacity level adjustment

Hi,

I need to add like 10% overlay on top of my slideshow picture so the text would be more visible. Showcase theme doesn’t have build in option to change the opacity and color of the slideshow overlay. I know I can change that trough custom CCS. Can someone assist me with the code to change the overlay opacity and color. Thank you!
