Showing discounted price in product page but full price minus discount at checkout

Hi there,

I am running a marketplace on Shopify and would like to subsidize some of my vendor’s products. If a vendor lists a product at 100$, I will subsidize a 20$ discount on my end, and:

  • the user should see the discounted price (80$) on collections and product page.
  • when the user checks out, he should see 100$ -20$ = 80$

→ I know how to create automated discounts on specific products or collections, but what I’d like to do is show only the 80$ discounted price until the user reaches checkout, and then only show the full calculation for accounting purposes.

Any suggestions on how I could achieve this?
