Simple Loyalty discount with account and subscribed to email

Hi there, been looking through and can’t really find an answer on how to do this or if it is possible OOB Shopify.

I would like to create a simple loyalty program and offer customers a discount for life, say 5% off every order. However I would like to set the following conditions and it to be automated so I don’t have to add people after they signup and create an account.

5% off orders

  • Cannot be combined with other codes (eg someone has 10% off and enter that code it just gives 10% off)

  • Full price product only

  • cannot be used on bundle / multi buy discounts

  • Customer must:- Have an account AND be subscribed to email

Is this possible OOB?

Hi,

It’s possible with Shopify. If you are merchant if have to hire developer to develop an additional feature for your store. If you are developer, you can check out this doc to have an overview about the way to do it.

You can try Shopify loyalty app - Loloyal: Loyalty & rewards. It’s easy to use and automated work after setting up.

By setting up points program, your customers can gain some points after having some activities. And then they can redeem these points for discount or coupons which can be used in next order. This points and reward program is easy to be set up and will help you increase customer repurchase rate.

About the rewards, which products could be applied to also depends on you.

Thanks but I do not want points of any kind, just keep it simple, if you have a customer account you have discount. My business is very very low repeat so a points scheme is just a waste of time.

So would it allow me to offer a discount to customer account when they order?
