Single item from VAT and non VAT items

I need to set up a Product but with multiple inventry items that will not be sold seperately so do not need a Bundle app. I could just set up a single product but part of the kit has Non-VAT applicable and some are VAT applicable so need to seperate them for billing…somehow.

Is there an easy way to achive this?

We have a bundle app whereby it is just a normal product but we convert the product post purchase into the individual component order lines.

The issue is the original single bundle order line will be charged with VAT or no VAT so even though we can split it into the correct SKUs the VAT amount collected can’t be changed.
