I added code so that my slideshow would display correctly on desktop and mobile and now specifically on desktop it is adding this grey padding to the images. how do I get rid of this or at least make this padding grey?
Topic summary
After adding custom code to make the slideshow responsive, the desktop version shows unwanted grey padding around the images; the goal is to remove the padding or control its color. This appears to be a CSS/layout issue where “padding” means the space around an element that can create visible margins.
The store URL was provided for review (myanchorsupply.com). Access seems open; no password was requested/provided.
A reviewer visited the site and could not observe the grey padding described. A screenshot attachment was shared to indicate what they saw (normal layout without the issue).
No fix or decision has been made. The issue remains unconfirmed on the reviewer’s end, and there are no action items recorded.
Open questions: the exact page/slide where the padding appears, the viewport size or device where it’s reproducible, and the specific custom CSS added. Further details would be needed to diagnose whether the padding is theme styling, container spacing, or a slideshow setting.
