Hello! I am having a droppshipping store and I managed to aquire some customers via my signups. I am looking to start sending a sms campaigns which they opted in for. What I was thinking is to use an app to create a landing page which showcases my products directly from my store. Anyone here using sms for marketing and customer outreach that is using some app that can do this? If so what is your experiance so far in terms of how effective this method would be?
I’ve tried SMS marketing myself, and it can work really well, especially since open rates are super high compared to email. If your customers already opted in, that’s a big plus. Apps like SMSBump, Postscript, and Omnisend are great for this, they integrate with Shopify, let you link products, and even build small landing style pages.
From my experience, SMS works best when the message is short, personal, and offers real value, like a quick discount or restock alert. Just don’t overdo it; a couple of messages a week is plenty. As long as your landing page loads fast and looks good on mobile, it can bring solid results for a dropshipping store.
If done properly, SMS marketing can be incredibly effective. To create a landing page that is focused on products, you can also think about integrating Shopify Email with an app like PageFly or GemPages. Then, you can use SMSBump to drive traffic to that page. For a higher success rate, track conversions and adjust the timing of your messages based on engagement.
isn’t there a few third-party apps for this?
There are bunch of them I think Klavio, Omnisend etc… Personally I developed my own SMS app for Shopify that is standalone app which am planning to use, mostly because the other two are very expensive for my own needs for now. I want to maximize use of the landing pages and RCS. Since sms is proven to be highly engageble I would like to see weather this could work or not.
Thanks for the approach! I will try to do that with my own SMS app for it as the main one mentioned are expensive for my own needs at the moment.
I was thinking to actually utilize the custom landing pages, giving a merchant more creative freedom to showcase what they want. Not sure if its better then what you just mention, creat a page on your own shop website and just link that instead. Will see how it goes.
