We are a shop, running on Shopify, that is part of a nonprofit organization that has its own Facebook and Instagram pages. We would like to build Shops there, but we don’t want to populate those Shops with too many items to start—we’d like to be selective by focusing on collections with strong thumbnail images. We’d prefer that those items not appear separately on social media, only within collections. If an individual product is not checked as a Facebook-Instagram item in the Shopify admin, but is in a Collection that is checked for Facebook-Instagram, I assume that individual product will appear when the Collection is clicked on in the social media Shop by a user, even if the individual item isn’t checked? Also, I’m assuming those collections in the social Media Shops are pulling from the Shopify admin and aren’t created in Facebook and Instagram? Both Shopify Support and Meta Support referred each to the other, and neither one seemed confident in answering these questions.
