Solid button background in sense

I have a problem regarding editing a scheme in Sense. As I try to make a button appear a certain color by setting the “solid button background” parameter to let’s say blue, the button always appear in the same color as the “background” parameter, no matter the color I put in for each. If I put the “background” parameter to transparent/no color, the button will appear black, no matter the “solid button background” parameter input. How can I fix this to be able to design buttons of different colors?
