we are currently trying to set up a new shop but we don’t know yet if it is even possible. It would love to hear your suggestions.
We have 3 locations in Austria but only 1 onlineshop. We are selling gift cards and merch and we are offering shipping or pick up.
When user visit the site they will have to choose one of the locations. We have already implemented this with a pop up form and a drop down form in the header if user want to change their choice later on.
Based on the chosen location different products are shown in the shop. Furthermore, the location has to be transported all the way to the checkout. So if user choose to pick up their products the other locations shouldn’t even show up as an option.
Next the products have to be fulfilled at the location the user chose. So if they want to purchase products from location 2 the fulfillment has to be at location 2. Shopify automatically choses the primary location for the fulfillment which would mix up our inventory at the different locations.
Do you know any apps that could handle this problem? All the geolocation apps don’t work because we have stores in the same country.
I can only think of adding all the products 3 times for the individual locations but that would not be ideal because then we would have to name the products and customers will notice that we sell products per location.
