I have no experience with Google Shopping & Ads. What’s the best place/way to ramp up?

There is actually a huge amount of things you need to take into consideration before you start.

Then once your website is compliant, submit your data feed using for example the google and youtube app, or my personal favorite is multifeeds.

Then setup your campaigns, and as you know nothing about google shopping or advertising, I recommend you use performance max. This is much easier to manage then complex setups.
And once you have done this for a month or more, start looking at articles, videos and learn from this. I am not able to share everything, because I would be writing 1000 pages long, too much
