Your myShopify URL will always be attached to your store/account no matter what changes you make (add a new domain or change the name of your store’s name). This serves as your username on the platform and will always be attached to your account with us; the same goes for Printful.
Have you made sure that the new products have properly synced to your store? Would you mind sharing your website URL with me so I can take a closer look?
The problem is fixed now. I don’t know why I didn’t see the new products after I changed the name, but the next day when I checked they appeared. Sorry that I didn’t add a reply to my question.
What I see now in the product list, there are two different Vendor names now (the old and the new store name). Do they show up somewhere during the shopping process? Does it make sense to replace the old name with the new one?
Great to hear your products have reappeared @enricobac !
In regards to the vendor (your store name), you can choose to have this displayed on your product pages otherwise this will not appear anywhere that the customer can view.
If you would like to make the vendor name visible, you will need to access your theme editor then within the Featured Product section that allows you to enable displaying the vendor. You’ll need to have a vendor added to the product in your Shopify admin for it to display.
There are a couple of ways you can edit the vendor assigned to a given product. The fastest way to edit this would be to use the built-in bulk editor for products in your admin. Just select all the products you wish to edit (in your case, all products in your store) and then click in to add the ‘vendor’ field and adjust as necessary:
Secondly, you might instead consider exporting them to a CSV file where you could then edit the ‘vendor’ field in bulk in a spreadsheet program.
Additionally, whilst being on the topic of your product pages, you may like to have a look at our article on Writing Product Descriptions That Sell. One of the points in the article is to focus on your ideal buyer when you write your product descriptions. What kind of person are they, and what language can you use to ensure they feel like you’re talking to them directly?
