Shopify is a platform for businesses to sell goods, like a mall.
You don’t shop on shopify in the same way you don’t shop in a forest.
You go to a lumber mill or find a construction store.

Just to add to this thread and to further clarify, Shopify is an ecommerce platform that a lot of businesses use to create their own independent stores to sell online or in-person, as explained here in our FAQ. Because of this, you wouldn’t purchase something directly from Shopify like you would via a marketplace, but you’d be purchasing directly from the business’ website instead.
Like a lot of other buyers, you might’ve also already purchased something from a store that is utilizing Shopify and not realized it! We’ve highlighted a few businesses who have had success in using Shopify in our Success Stories page here, if you’d like to check them out.
If you’re looking to shop from some of the stores on our platform, I highly recommend using our Shop app. The app will allow you to easily purchase products from local businesses, while allowing you to coordinate your online orders in one easy place!
