Why do I receive SubscribeButtonClick events when i press shop now buttons, view cart, or increase quantity of my product? How do I fix this?
Topic summary
Users are experiencing an issue where the Meta Pixel incorrectly fires SubscribeButtonClick events when customers interact with unrelated elements like:
- “Shop Now” buttons
- “View Cart” links
- Product quantity adjustments
One user contacted Meta support, who indicated this tracking anomaly won’t affect overall pixel performance or data accuracy.
However, the issue remains unresolved — users want to disable or remove these erroneous events from their event list, as they find the incorrect tracking data cluttering and annoying to monitor. No solution has been provided yet for preventing these false triggers or hiding them from the events dashboard.

I spoke to meta support, they said that you shouldn’t worry about it. It won’t effect your tracking in anyway.
Yes , but I want to disable it and not appear on my list of events, really annoying to see it everytime.
