Suggestion: Create Building Blocks for the Online Store Backend

Hello,

I would like to suggest a feature for future Shopify updates. It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to save blocks in the backend and easily apply them to multiple pages.

Currently, whenever we need to make significant changes to our website, we have to edit each page individually and recreate the same block of content multiple times. If we could save blocks, we could create them once and then easily apply them to other pages.

For example, Klaviyo offers a similar block-building feature in their email templates, which simplifies the process.

Hi @patriciabosco :waving_hand: this is the store-feedback “Feedback for your online store from the community” emphasis on feedback of YOUR store.

Not general platform requests.

Though shopify staff might see here don’t gamble, for feature request always do direct action by contacting shopify support directly.

Copying blocks/sections/settings is also a discussion for the upcoming new theme-blocks system currently only in developer preview (i.e. alpha/beta phase)
