I just want to let you know how disappointed I’m with the Shopify Trust & Safety team. They’ve been ignoring me for about a month. I sent them authorization letters from my suppliers, and direct contacts of my suppliers so they could confirm the legitimacy of my business.
We spent several months designing and developing our store, we spent a lot of financial resources on Ads, coding, etc. And one day they just closed our store, without any previous investigation or documents requests. Now they just ignore my emails and follow-ups. And how can you tell me now that Shopify is a seller-friendly platform?
We decided to open another business on Shopify because we were tired of ongoing problems and unreasonable bans from Amazon. We think we can avoid these issues when we shift to Shopify. But unfortunately, Shopify’s higher management lever support is even worse than Amazon’s.
I’ll never forget this experience, how Shopify destroyed my business and several months of hard work. I will share it within our eCommerce community to debunk the myth about Shopify’s attitude to its sellers.
