Hi, my shopify has updated to the new style thank you page and removed all my previous changes using the additional scrips section.

Does anyone have any idea how to add simple text etc onto the thankyou page with the new style thankyou page?

As I understand the shopify scripts (additional scripts) for the thankyou page is being depreciated with the new style thankyou page being released. Therefore I am looking for a way of adding text to the thankyou page an alternative way. Shopify support suggested using ‘pixels’. But I am not very experienced with that.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @LittlePaddocks , you can use the Shopify’s official Checkout Blocks app, to add text / banner to the new style thank you page / order status page : https://apps.shopify.com/checkout-blocks

Hi, yes — Shopify’s new Thank You page uses the latest Checkout Extensibility, and the old “Additional Scripts” section is no longer supported for adding custom content.

To add custom text, product offers, coupons, or similar content to the Thank You or Order Status pages, you’ll now need to use a Checkout UI Extension. These extensions are more secure and fully supported by Shopify’s new checkout system.

There’s an app that allows you to add blocks like custom messages, coupon codes, or product recommendations without writing any code:

It uses Shopify’s latest Checkout Extensibility framework — so it’s compatible with the updated Thank You page layout.
