Theme RIDE: Ideal Product Picture Size and Collections Page Pictures Not Square

Howdy folks!!

First off my website is:

First Question:

What is the ideal picture size for products for the RIDE theme? I searched google and found someone mentioned 2048x2048 is suggested. I tried that but curious if theres a more ideal size? Fast loading and still looks good.

Second Question:

On my collections pages the product pictures are displayed are a rectangle shape as opposed to a square. That is cutting off the sides of my images which on some pictures it ruins the preview picture making it unattractive to click on. How can I change that to a be square and not rectangle?

I am trying to fix this issue also as all of my images are rectangle, and making them square cuts out a lot of the product.

700 x 900 seems to work well with ride theme.
