This may be a dumb question (I’m new here) but figured I would ask.
I’m new to Shopify themes & liquid, but very familiar with React. I have been looking into what it would take to build a React Storefront and then just use Shopify’s Storefront API. However, I’m assuming there’s some value to building it as a theme that could be edited within Shopify. Here are my two questions:
1 - Is it frowned upon, or common, to build a React (or other stack) storefront rather than build a liquid theme?
2 - If I do decide to build a React storefront, is it possible to build it as a theme? Or do all themes have to be liquid?
