I am an SEO neophyte, in fact I frequently mispell it. I am looking for 2 or 3 high level metrics to track on the daily to see if my website’s SEO is trending in the right direction…what do you recommend? FYI I have access to Semrush. Thanks!

That’s a smart approach. For a daily check-in on your SEO health, you only need to focus on a few key indicators.
The first and most important is your Organic Traffic, which is the number of visitors finding you through unpaid search results. If this number is trending up over time, it’s the clearest sign your efforts are paying off. To do so, you can have a look at the Google Analytics tool.
