Total number of items ordered not showing on packing slip

Hi all,

I am trying to add a “total number of items ordered” element to our packing slips to ensure we are accurate in our final counts when packing orders. I have tried the steps on this discussion and have managed to get the number appear on the slip, but have not been successful in the final number actually adding up to the total quantity. It just always appears as 0.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this calculation work?
