Unable to connect to shopify development store

To create a shopify checkout extension app I followed the process described in the dcoumentation. So after running npm run dev

Finished creating a dev store?

(y) Yes, Developer has a new dev store
(n) No, cancel dev

Press ↑↓ arrows to select, enter or a shortcut to confirm.
? Finished creating a dev store?
:check_mark: Yes, Developer has a new dev store

Looks like you don’t have a dev store in the Partners org you selected. Keep going — create a dev store on Shopify Partners:

why i am getting this error ?

You went to create a shopify checkout extension app but you have an error to don’t have a dev store in the Partners ,It happens
Try the flowing step i thing that help you

  1. Create a partner account → Create
  2. Then login you partner account ->Go to store ->create develop store
