the buy buttons on our website are only to direct customers to external shops to purchase items. We do not allow for any items to be carted and bought yet we have unexplainable orders coming through. we emailed the customers asking how they placed the order and it looks like it is a hack/scam.

We have not been able to resolve our issue for months. Our website is for affiliate links only. we use shop buttons (via outlinks) to link viewers to affiliate websites to purchase items on their page. Yet, we have orders coming through “shopify orders tab” we have to cancel them everyday and no one can figure out how they are coming through–no shoppers will respond to emails asking how they ordered so im assuming its attempted scams? Please help us find a solution it has been months with no resolution. THX!
