Unisex product - How to show different image when on Men or Women product list?

Hello everyone.

So, I’m using Dawn theme and I have a unisex product in the inventory.

This product has two images: the 1st, the main one, is of a female model wearing it, the 2nd of a man.

How can I choose which image to show depending when the user is browsing through the women or men’s section?

I’ve read some other discussions about this topic and what I understand is that through theme code editing I can do something like:

“If product url includes /men, show the second product image. Otherwise, show the main one”.

Can someone help me with the coding and help me find where to put it?

Thanks!

Hello @luiscfer

Can you share your website URL so that I can check and help you in solving this issue?

Hi @SmallTask

This is just a development store to test this same functionality.

You can access it here. Pass: reofud

Thanks.

You can create separate pages for men’s and women’s products so that it can also help to improve your website’s SEO ranking.

Hi.

That is not my problem.

Hi @luiscfer were you successful in solving this for your store? Would be great to hear of any recommended solution.

Hey, nothing yet. As I said some coding might fix it. I don’t know how ecommerce platforms just doesn’t address this issue. It’s not that uncommon! Cheers.
