I am experiencing the same thing for over a month and still no response. I desperately need help with this and am starting to give up hope I will ever see my money from my orders shipped and delivered. Not only am I losing out on the product I shipped I am also losing out on the money owed to me for thse orders. Im losing double the amount of money and Shopify could care less to even help. They just continue to have bots respond to us and they provide zero customer support.
I can completely understand your frustration. I am going through the exact thing right now. They apologize and thank you for patience with all the documentation complete… then they come up with something else to verify a few months down the road. I don’t see how a company can legally hold back funds that belong to us until they get their processes done. I’m switching to a different payment processing option… I will never be in this position again. Shame on you Shopify for treating your customers like this.
Thank you for the info I have filed with Arizona and California attrorneys offices with shopify. Clowns and I am filling every single one on this list until they stop this joke
I have gone through the same thing with Shopify. They will put a stop on your payouts however they will not put a stop on them taking their fees. This puts individual stores in a precarious situation and Shopify does not care one way or another. Shopify is a money grab Company they care nothing about the user. We have to stop them and make them come correct. Let’s collectively in one voice show them our disapproval and forced them to treat us properly.
They told me that my bank was rejecting my payouts. I called the bank and the bogus reference number that they have the bank said they had no idea what that was but Shopify insist that they have made attempts and they failed. There are a bunch of liars and cheaters working for Shopify and I am almost certain that they Are rewarded by Shopify for their lies and dishonesty.

They have asked for the same documentation over and over. And now another notice that payouts will be paused in April if I don’t update my info. They are already paused. I just opened in October a new boutique, I don’t know how much longer I can Make it without the money they owe me. I’ve read all of your replies, trying to use tips and information. If you have any phone numbers or emails, I may not have please share.

I did end up receiving my payouts. In the end I emailed them saying that they should never have legally taken any money if they thought my identity was not sufficient, as they approved it in the first place. I also said that I was in touch with a community of people in the same boat and that we were compiling video evidence to use on social media to expose the whole ordeal.
My payout was only a few hundred!! I’ve read about people being held back thousands and hundreds of thousands.

Yes false chargebacks our bank in our favor but they won’t honor it. Now stealing from our sales. Any lawyers or such interested in this issue. We can’t appeal. They won’t let us no proof of a chargeback won’t respect
BBB told them also. It’s ok they think t they got us.
Shopify will pay for the lies they have withheld my payments for 9 months and keep saying it’s being escalated.
