Video preview for IOS - iphone devices is not being loaded

Hello Everyone,

I am using a custom html below for adding video’s as below code.

If you’re talking about auto-play not happening, that’s normal behaviour. Some devices/browsers restrict auto-play for a couple of reasons:

  • For people that don’t have unlimited data, auto-playing videos load huge files that eat up their data, so preventing that prevents them from losing data in their plan

  • Autoplay is annoying to many people

If you’re talking about something else, a bug that requires inspection of your site, you’ll want to share your URL and how to recreate the bug. Then a developer can inspect it.

Here I am facing an issue with the preview images of the video is not being displayed only for iOS devices. In the browser inspect it works well. But in actual iPhone it does not work. The video is blank with preview.

Is there any solution that can be done to fix this issue from Shopify, Or is this an issue with the device.

Ned Assistance as early as possible.

Hello is there any cheat code available for this to fix the ios preview issue in HTML 5. Need immediate guidance. What can be done.

After testing in iPhone, Ipad, and Imac the preview images are not loading even after clearing cache.
