Hey @Afterhrsuk ,

Your store’s LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) is taking a hit here, and improving it can make a real difference to your speed score. If you need a hand tackling this, feel free to email us at [email removed] - we’ll help you sort it out.

Looks like your site could use a bit of work to improve loading times. Try compressing images and minimizing scripts for better speed—classic XXBrits efficiency!

Hi Afterhrsuk,

It’s your store speed in Page Speed Insight : https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-afterhrsuk-com/628upwhppw?form_factor=mobile

Third-party apps are affecting the store’s speed. Here’s the detailed image. Our app Avada SEO Suite can defer and improve the store’s speed, you can give it a trial

  • Additionally, I see that the LCP and CLS scores are already good.

I attempted to access the analysis report, but the link is not working. If you’re interested in website sustainability, you can try out this tool: thecarbonfootprint.ai it provides you with tips on reducing your site’s carbon footprint and getting it to perform better.

Hi, @Afterhrsuk
This typically happens when large assets and scripts delay how quickly the page becomes visible. It’s more about load priority than a single major issue.
Here are the key fixes (non-technical):

  1. Images are too heavy (biggest impact)
Convert images to WebP + resize before uploading
    Avoid large banner/hero images
  2. Mobile performance is the main issue
Keep the first screen simple (no sliders/video)
Make sure your main image loads quickly
  3. Too many apps/scripts
    Remove unused apps
    Limit popups and tracking tools
  4. LCP (main content loading late)
    Use a lighter hero image
Avoid heavy sections above the fold
Both reports show the same issue - heavy images, mobile-heavy layout, and extra scripts are slowing things down. Simplifying the top section + optimizing images will give the biggest improvement.
If you don’t want to handle this manually, tools like Website Speedy can help with image optimization and script prioritization - it’s completely optional to use.
