Hello, Im currently building my Shopify store for home decor and looking for the best dropshipping apps. I found some dropshipers but I’m not sure how to add them to my store. One of them being Koehler Home Decor. Can I add the, to my store or does it have to be apps like Spocket or Aliexpress ?
Hi there, @Lissapwilliams !
Welcome to the Community! Definitely a great place to gather some input regarding anything about the platform!
With regards to this supplier that you have found, are you able to tell us more about it? Any information that you can share about your situation will help us understand it better and be able to assist accordingly.
I have found this great help document that provides more information regarding choosing a supplier that is not in the Shopify App Store.
Please refer to the following as well for some great information regarding this kind of business model on the platform as well:
Let me know how these resources work out for you but more importantly, I look forward to hearing more from you about your business/situation.
You can check these Home Decor suppliers:
https://www.spocket.co/dropship/home-garden
https://syncee.co/drop-shipping/home-decor-dropshipping-supplier-worldwide/
So I have actually found a few drop shipping companies that I can order from that doesn’t require me to use Alibaba, aliexpress, spocket, or syncee. Do you know of good EDI & OMS systems ?
You can check these following suppliers for Home Decor:
DHgate
Wayfair
Spocket
I hope that is helpful to you,
Thanks.
hi, Check out https://www.poweredbypeople.com/pages/dropship-effect
They have ethically sourced, sustainable and unique products not all over the internet and 30% margins. It’s worked well for us
You can definitely add suppliers like Koehler Home Decor, but the easiest way to manage products, inventory, and orders is through a dropshipping app. I’d recommend AutoDS since it lets you import products from over 30 suppliers (including Costway, Overstock, etc.), keeps inventory synced, and even automates order fulfillment.
Compared to Spocket, which mainly focuses on a curated set of US/EU suppliers, AutoDS gives you more supplier options and stronger automation features. If flexibility and scaling matter to you, AutoDS is usually the better fit.
Worth separating the app question from the supplier question because they’re actually two different decisions.
The app is just the integration layer. What determines your customer’s experience is the supplier’s catalogue, product quality and how reliably they fulfil. A good app connected to a bad supplier doesn’t fix anything.
On the app side, AutoDS is probably the most flexible for connecting multiple suppliers, Syncee works well as both a supplier marketplace and integration tool, Spocket is strong for curated US and EU options.
On the supplier side for home décor, it depends on your market. If you’re selling to European customers, dropXL is worth knowing about. It’s vidaXL’s B2B platform, EU-warehoused, about 90k SKUs across home, garden and furniture. Koehler Home Decor is decent for a rustic or farmhouse aesthetic if your market is US-based.
Honest advice: pick your supplier first based on category fit and where their stock actually sits, then choose the app that connects to them most cleanly. Most people do it the other way around and it causes problems later.

Hello, @Lissapwilliams
Hope you are doing great,
No you are not limited to apps like AliExpress or spocket. Shopify allows you to work with any wholesale supplier.
If Kohler home decors offers a dropshipping or wholesale programs that supports direct shipping to your customers, then you can use them with your store.
I would suggest that you check whether Kohler provides a dropshipping integration or reseller account as that it would be the most efficient way to get start with them.
You can absolutely use independent suppliers like Koehler Home Decor by registering on their site and importing their products via a CSV spreadsheet or automated bridge apps like AutoDS.
Hey! So there are a couple of ways you can go about this depending on where you’re at:
If you’re still hunting for suppliers:
- Apps like Spocket, DSers (AliExpress), or Zendrop are great for that — they basically come with a built-in supplier catalog you can pull products from straight into your store
If you already have a supplier in mind like Koehler:
- You don’t necessarily need a marketplace app!
- Just reach out to Koehler directly and ask how they accept orders — some suppliers do it via email, a portal, or even a CSV file
- Once you know their process, you can work around it
If you’re managing orders with suppliers you already know, check out Order Fulfillment Guru:
- Super helpful if you’re working with one or more vendors you already have a relationship with
- It automatically routes orders to the right supplier for you — no more doing it manually
- Really saves time once your store starts getting orders
Basically, marketplace apps help you find suppliers, while Order Fulfillment Guru helps you manage orders with suppliers you’re already working with. You might even end up using both depending on how things grow!
Hope this helps, good luck with your store! ![]()
I remember a friend once told me that in the current agent-based era, many things can be connected across platforms to achieve a full-link workflow. This can be especially effective for the transformation of established companies and during the early-stage creation of new platforms.
Many dropshipping suppliers do not have their own app. However, you can place the order through their website. Checking Spocket will help you undestand the best dropshipping suppliers for Home Decor. If you are looking for home and garden products to dropship to US & EU with a fast delivery, you can try dropXL.
Good point about separating the supplier choice from the app choice. Shopify can work with independent suppliers like Koehler Home Decor as long as they offer a practical fulfillment process. I’d focus on supplier reliability, inventory accuracy, and shipping performance first, then choose the app or OMS that best supports that workflow.
Hi @Lissapwilliams .
That’s a good one;
Most dropshipping suppliers like Koehler need to connect through an app.
You usually can not add them directly without one.
Check if Koehler has their own Shopify app or integration listed on their site, or works with apps like Spocket, Modalyst, or Inventory stores.
Yo, I’d recommend Spocket. They’ve got some great trending home decor products. Their suppliers are responsive, ship fast, and I love their customer support. Idk about others’ experiences but 20/10 for me.
