What are the best email automation apps for separate subscription lists?

Hi!

I have set up my Shopify store and right now I am looking for best email automation apps. I have one important functionality I am looking for in my email automation. Here’s the short overview:

  1. The webpage has a page ‘Ebook’ in which the Client can download a PDF ebook (the page is creted with Pagefly). For that, the Client NEEDS TO INSERT HIS/HER E-MAIL address and subscribe - after that an email with ebook PDF will be sent to his/her mailbox (or it can be a direct download as well). So basically, sending the PDF to the inserted e-mail adress/after subscribing.
  2. A regular subscription when just joining the mailing list (I believe it is available in evey app and it’s not the problem).

The important thing is to keep the regular subscription email and the PDF download subscription link SEPERATELY (the emails are inserted through different pages). I have tried MailChimp, but I can only send the PDF download email to ALL EXISTING users or send it as a first time Welcome email to everyone who signs up. The problem is that I want to keep the regular subcription seperately and send out the PDF email to only those who subscribed via the Ebook page.

Does anyone know what the best option for this is? I have also considered ActiveCampaign, but the prices are quite high. Any other alternatives? I feel like I have hit a wall.
