Hey guys a few months ago i made my store and i don’t know what theme i should go with? Should i go with paid or free themes? What are the best themes that will highly convert for one product stores?

To put it shortly. Tied 1st Dawn/Debut, 2nd Brooklyn, for the best free themes.
Debut is the classic, best free theme. Easily customizable on the back-end, and a fast theme. Dawn is the new up-comer, being Shopify 2.0 so has some new features, it’s also fast as well. If you don’t like either than the backup is Brooklyn.

Great question. I recently recorded a video ranking all the free Shopify Themes on Shopify’s theme store. IMO it’s better to go with a free theme & customize it over time. However, if you aren’t willing to spend the time/money on customization, paid themes are a great alternative. My rankings came out as follows:
S- Dawn, Brooklyn, Debut, Venture, Narrative
A- Supply
B- Minimal, Boundless, Simple
C- Express
I’d generally recommend Dawn to someone starting a store right now as it incorporates Online Store 2.0 changes. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
