Hello, what email does everyone use for their store? I downloaded Shopify email but really can’t figure out how to use it.

What features are you looking for? The Shopify Email app is good for one-off campaigns, when you send the same email to all your customers or a group of your customers. However, if you need automated marketing emails like welcome email, abandoned checkout recovery, post-purchase follow up, or multi-step sequences, then you need a more advanced tool. From my experience, Klaviyo and Mailchimp are the most popular ones.
We used Mailchimp in the early days, but quickly switched to Klaviyo when we needed more flexibility with our email automations. It’s much better for creating segmented/targeted emails (like the ones Lukasz mentions in his answer).
We also use Bonjoro to send post-purchase thank-you videos via email. These are much more effective for customer relationships / brand building and getting more repeat sales, than regular emails.
