I am the designer of a new line of swimwear for women who’s suits are very body revealing up to and including suits which are made to be worn both see-through as well as fully topless. Since almost all sellers of swimwear use Shopify as their e-commerce platform, I would like to use it myself. However, I have not been able to find out what level of Body exposure would be permitted displaying my suits on it? For the sake of maximum impact with my buyers, I want to have shots of my models in my suits as if my customers were wearing them on a beach and not with their arms crossed over their breasts or hands placed to hide them. I don’t want for all shots used to be implied topless. What will Shopify allow me in my use of photosnof my suits?
Hi @Swimdesigns ,
If you’re adding product images that are clearly designed to showcase the products you are selling then you need not be concerned. While Shopify does not permit the sale of ■■■■■■■■■■■ via Shopify Payments (as per section B5 of the Shopify Payments Terms of Service), if your store clearly sells swimwear then you are free to use whichever images you want that display these products. The amount of body exposure in your images should not be a problem.
