I would suggest another upload field app name Upload Kit if you just want your customer to print a simple image on the based product (shirt/frame/mug).
But if your customer need more complicated requirement with varied options then you should use a Product Option app; which allow you more options rather than just Upload field, a few apps like Infinite Options by Hulkapps; Product Personalizer; Product customizer... they’re really suited for POD business.
