Where can I track order modifications in Shopify?

Hi! Where can I see order changes such as cancelation, putting order on hold, shipping address amendment…etc in Shopify? Thanks!

You can find all those order updates right inside the order timeline in Shopify. Just open the order in your admin, and scroll down, the timeline records every action: cancellations, address edits, fulfillment changes, even manual notes. You’ll see who made the change and when.

If you need more detailed tracking (for example, team accountability or automated alerts), you can use Shopify Flow or a tracking app like ParcelPanel Order Tracking. It automatically logs fulfillment and shipping status updates and keeps customers informed through a branded tracking page, so your internal changes and customer-facing tracking stay in sync.

You can monitor order updates in the “Timeline” of each order in your Shopify admin. It logs canceling, editing orders, order fulfilling and shipping/address changing. For a higher-level perspective, export order history or go to the “Activity” report in Shopify Analytics to view changes among multiple orders without having to open them one by one.
