Where to add custom code for cart page modification?

Hi:

I want to modify my cart page using custom code. I’m using the Dawn’s free theme. I want to know where in the source code that I can add eventlistener and making get/post request to update cart’s attributes

You can check the cart.js file under the Asset folder.
