Where to find shippping and delivery information for my customers shipping policy

Hello to you all in the Community:

This is a letter I wrote AliExpress concerning what to tell my customers about shipping and delivery times in my shipping Policy. Still waiting for the answers. But, now i would like to seek advice from a shopify partner.

Hello AliEpress:
I have a dropshipping shopify store (rodorianjewel.com). I run my store out of the United States, but my suppliers are all out of China. I have been having a hell of a time for weeks trying to get information to put in my shipping and delivery policy for my customers to read. Things like: shipping time, delivery options, and carriers. I was adviced that I would be able to find this information with you, (Ali express). I have already set up my shopify shipping zones and rates. As Dser instructed me that AliExpress has all the info I’m looking for to put in my shipping policy for my customers. I see no information except what should be put in my shipping policy, but not telling me the actual information on shipping times, delivery or faster delivery options my customers can pick from, infomation for my domestic and international shipping. My main concern is that customers who buy my products want to know how long there order will take to get to them and an option to select faster delivery. In my shopify store 5-8 days is the longest time i can show, knowing shipping may be much longer. This is why I setup my rates with custom. I know i have a few other things to complete in my store like, return address, updating my other policies and updating my prices. But, concerning the shipping info for my customers is truly bothering me, just where to find it. Then since shopify and dsers tells me I’m all set on my end, maybe i’m just looking for something that’s not right to pick on. Well I hope you can tell me where to find the information i see other store have, or as a dropshopper that may not apply to dropshippers. I’m hoping you can check my store and tell me do i need to be concerned.

Thank you community and best to you all.

It likely depends on the individual suppliers that ship your products, where Aliexpress is the marketplace so they might not be able to give a definitive answer.

I would contact your suppliers directly, good to start up a relationship anyway, if you start regularly selling some products, you can look at buying in bulk and then offer normal shipping.

If you have too many suppliers too contact, you likely have too many products (unless you have an established business and have scaled your product line). If that is part of your strategy, then you could contact 10 suppliers and average the shipping information, then present that as your policy.

Side note, instead of saying “Don’t place orders right now” on your home page, what about saying “Contact us here (linked) to place an order, we are currently upgrading our experience and want to give you 1 on 1 service.”

You could turn the negative of not taking orders, into a positive by getting feedback directly from your customers.

Hello Nolan: Thank you for your help. It is kind of you to reach out in my concern. Unfortunately I don’t use whatsapp. All I have is the community, my email, and a chat box on my shopify site at rodorianjewel.com. Again, Thank you. If you can use one of these options, that would be great.
Best to you and your family
