I have not been able to convert visits to sales. Not sure why this is, I need help figuring this out. I have been with shopify almost a year now.

Rein here from Shopify. I understand that you are looking for suggestions on how to increase the conversion of your viewers to your store.
Would you mind sharing your store here so I can take a look and offer suggestions? Could you also tell me about your current advertising efforts?
Without seeing your store, I suggest understanding who your audience is, and why they might be viewing your store. From there you can have wording on your store to help convert them to be fully paying customers. It sounds to me like it may be either the types of people coming to your store and/or the social proof of your store.
