Why are my images getting cropped on the Impulse theme homepage?

Hi! Have any of you encountered issues like this?

The image for promo grid in the Customize section looks just fine;

But once we saved and opened the Homepage on a new tab, the images are being cropped;

What do you think? Any inputs?
