My variants that are out of stock are no longer showing on my store. I do want them to show up because my customers sign up for back in stock alerts.
I have my products checked for “track inventory” and unchecked for “Continue to sell when out of stock”.
There is no setting in my theme to check for “show sold out” and the theme developer will not answer any emails.
How can I get this back?
Did they get put into draft or archived? Are they still in your shop’s collections? Did you also check which sales channels are selected for these products?
They are still showing in the store. It is only the variants that aren’t available that aren’t showing.

That is strange because I believe the default behavior is to show out of stock variants. What theme are you using? And you’re sure you don’t have an app installed that customizes your variant selectors? Because I do see a hidden selector in your code:
I’m using Shoesf theme and no product app. I am using the hulk app for out of stock notifications, but nothing for variants, I enter all of that manually.
Can you link to where I can install that theme? So far nothing coming up when I google it.

Ok, so previewing that theme, it looks like you customized your theme to use dropdowns instead of buttons. The preview shows buttons:
Your best bet is to go back into the theme customizer and see where this setting is, then see if there’s a checkbox to hide out of stock variants. If not, then I’d need to see your product page liquid code. Otherwise I’m not sure what’s going on.
