Why aren't Draft Orders visible in the All Orders View?

Draft Orders have several problems but have promise to be a useful feature:

  1. Draft Orders should display an indicator bubble that tells the user how many Draft Orders are pending

  2. Draft Orders should be displayed in the “All Orders” view as well as the “Open Orders” view

  3. Draft Orders should show on the Customer view, but they dont.

  4. Draft Order invoices should allow for editing of the default messaging, before they are sent, not just adding additional messaging (halfway there).

  5. Draft Orders need to have a “Copy Link” feature that can be shared via other means, other than the automated email.

We really appreciate your input on suggesting additional functionality for the draft orders feature. Although we don’t have a timetable on this being considered to roll-out as a feature, we certainly appreciate the feedback. This helps us steer the direction of Shopify to continue developing a robust platform. I’d be happy to pass this along to our developers for potential future implementation.

I’ll add to that, being able to:

  1. Partially pay a draft order

  2. or, Convert a draft to an Order without having to re-key it

or solve all of the above by being able to Create and Send an invoice from a regular order. That would be even better.
