Why aren't my payment providers working for drop shipping?

Hi everyone , I recently started drop shipping I have everything setup and ready but i don’t have a payment provider setup i have tried each of the gateways that partnered with shopify but non were successful, There are 2 questions I would like to ask

  1. which payment provider is legit?
  2. will Shopify make their own payment provider accessible to every country

any answer would be much appreciated

Great question! Can you let me know what country your business is located in and the kind of products you are selling? That will help in recommending a suitable payment gateway for you to look into. You can also review the list of eligible gateways for your business on this page here: Payment Gateways.

At this time Shopify Payments is available to many countries, but not all. There is no fixed timeline I can share for when Shopify Payments may become available to additional locations.

Thank you for confirming that! And what kind of products are you selling? And are you dropshipping?

Most (if not all) payment gateways are going to require documentation from your business to ensure you are a legitimate enterprise with real stock that you plan on selling. If you are dropshipping, you may find it more difficult to acquire a suitable payment gateway as businesses of that nature can be considered a higher risk business.

  • Rapyd Payments
