Why can't I change the URL in my menu?

Hi,

I am trying to update a link in my menu but it keeps telling me “Link needs to be a URL address”, even though I am adding a valid, working url. Basically, to show our drink menu, we link the “MENU” tab to PDF document which is hosted on shopify. I usd to go to “content”, then copy the link, then paste it in the “link” on the “edit menu item” page but now whatever I paste it’s still gonna show me that error message, and I can’t add any new ones. Did that even happened to someone?

Experiencing this also across all my stores - Seems to have started within the last 3 days.

Edit: Shopify support has been made aware of this and is looking into this issue.

No follow-up from Shopify support, but I’m no longer experiencing the issue and can add custom URLs now, including “#” for empty links. Hope it’s resolved for you also!
